Hi my name is Katie! Meeting new people, experiencing new places, witnessing love and kindness, and creating memories are all I want in life. I’m grateful to have the career I have because I get to experience all these things at every wedding. I learned photography on a 35mm film camera, which really taught me how to slow down and compose an image. I find photographs so romantic and timeless. I love antiquing and whenever I pass a vintage wedding album I can’t help but look through it. Wedding photos can truly last forever, which is why I’m so honored to do what I do. 

I met August, my husband, in 2015. We got married in Sedona, AZ on March 30, 2021. He gave me my first film camera and pushed me to follow my dreams. He is my #1 fan, best friend, and my rock. We had our first baby, Ramona, in January 2023. She has changed our lives completely. I grew a second heart the day she was born. Watching her see the world for the very first time has really made me appreciate every little moment. 

• I’m always listening to Manchester Orchestra. I’m currently listening to a lot of Beyonce, Kali Uchis, Foxing, Kacey Musgraves, and Super Simple Songs (thanks Ramona). 

• Antique malls are my comfort place.

• I want to visit all our beautiful National Parks (I’ve been to 14/63 so far, only 49 more to go haha).

• I’m the middle child and a Leo (if that means anything to you LOL).

• I love concerts because they remind me of my emo phase in high school.

• I grew up in South Florida and speak Spanish.

• I love everything about Studio Ghibli.
